List of Scholarships
The Community Foundation currently awards over $250,000 in scholarships each year from over 35 scholarship funds. Approximately 150 students pursuing post-secondary education at a college, university or vocational/technical programs are the recipients of these scholarships. Each scholarship is unique and supports students with a variety of backgrounds, educational goals and economic status. Individual scholarship awards typically range in size from $500 - $5,000.
While some scholarship funds award scholarships to graduating high school students, others award scholarships to students currently enrolled in a college or university. Scholarships may be awarded for one year only, while others are awarded for the customary four years of post-secondary education. Each individual scholarship fund is typically designated for students graduating from either a specific high school, are employees or children of employees of specific businesses, or are current college students pursuing a specific career path.
