The Community Foundation is the ideal partner to nonprofits. We understand your good work, and can help match you with donors committed to your cause. We can also help you manage some administrative tasks associated with building your endowment. Here are some of the ways in which we can work together.
| • |
Funding source. Apply for funding from the Community Giving Fund and other unrestricted funds. Opportunities to receive an Impact Grant may also be available.
|
| • |
Donor connection. We hold Donor Advised Funds established by individuals to facilitate their granting to nonprofits. These donors frequently ask us to inform them of the community’s priorities and emerging needs. Keep us apprised of your major initiatives so that we can introduce our donors to your work.
|
| • |
Organization Endowment Funds. Let us relieve your nonprofit of the burden of investing, managing, and reporting endowment assets so that you can focus on the valuable services you provide. The Foundation’s history of permanence and respect provides confidence to donors that their gifts will be well managed. We can also help raise community awareness of your fund.
|
| • |
Capital campaigns. We can hold capital campaign funds for your organization.
|
| • |
Designated Funds. Your supporters can create their own Designed Fund for the express purpose of supporting your organization. They can name their fund (i.e. the Smith Family Fund) and create a fund with current assets or through estate planning.
|
| • |
Complex gift arrangements. Do you have a donor who wants to contribute appreciated stock or real estate or created a charitable remainder trust to benefit your organization? We can help you facilitate these and other less common forms of giving. |
