How are Grants Awarded?
The Foundation’s Board of Directors provides oversight to determine where the needs are greatest and where potential for success is most promising. Grants are made to nonprofit organizations via a formal application process. Applications are reviewed by Foundation staff, with guidance from committees comprised of Board members and community experts. Interviews and site visits are part of the evaluation process.

Giving to the Community Giving Fund is like making a deposit to a permanent community savings account. The fund makes resources available in lean times as well as good times. The fund also allows the Community Foundation to act quickly, to meet emerging needs.
How can I make my gift?
You can contribute a wide range of assets to the Community Giving Fund. If you are ready to donate now, we can accept cash, publicly-traded or privately-held stock, real estate, retirement plan assets, life insurance, and more.
