About Lea Whitlock
Lea joined the Community Foundation in 2019 to support the team’s marketing efforts. She has more than seven years of experience in the Community Foundation field and is passionate about meaningful communication and connecting generous people with the causes they want to support.
Prior to relocating to southwest Washington, Lea lived in Arkansas where she graduated from the University of Central Arkansas and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations. After graduating, she joined Arkansas Community Foundation as an Americorps VISTA to implement a youth philanthropy program across the state of Arkansas. Her commitment to building communities continued as she eventually lead communications efforts for the foundation and served on nonprofit boards like the Buffalo National River Partners, Create Little Rock’s Pop Up in the Rock, and Young Nonprofit Professionals Network.
Lea brings her love of the outdoors with her from The Natural State and spends her time out of the office scouting new sights, sounds and eats around the Pacific Northwest.
