We’re excited to bring a half-day workshop to nonprofits participating in Give More 24! Get ready to build a comprehensive Give More 24! plan with in-person support and technical guidance. Afterwards, you’ll walk away feeling ready to accomplish your 2019 fundraising goals.

Like last year, we’ll gather in the Firstenburg Student Commons on the WSU Vancouver campus (map here). Due to limited space, registration is limited to two representatives from each nonprofit. If you’d like to place additional attendees on our waiting list, please email the Give More 24! planning team.

New this year: Door prizes! The workshop will begin at 8:30 am sharp but be sure to arrive a few minutes early to sign up to win a door prize and grab some breakfast.

Workshop to Include:

How to Prepare for Give More 24!

We’ll kick off the day talking about the big picture goal for this year’s event and offer creative ideas to help you incorporate this year’s theme into your marketing plans. We’ll also cover event basics and how the Community Foundation will support your efforts in planning and promotion.

How to Build a Compelling Give More 24! Campaign

Setting goals for your organization and creating a realistic plan are two of the most important components of any successful giving day campaign. We’ll talk about putting your peer-to-peer fundraisers and match dollars to work plus how to build a timeline based on your unique approach. Whether you’re returning for another round of Give More 24! or this is your first year participating, you’ll leave with a comprehensive plan that is ready to implement.

How to Build Engagement on Social Media While Saving Precious Time

Social media is one of the most powerful tools when it comes to engaging your networks to give during Give More 24! With so many publishing platforms, design applications and suggestions about content strategy, we know it can feel like a lot to take on. With a clear goal in mind, we’ll help you learn more about your online audience and create relevant content while offering some advice on current best practices.
