Overview + Keynote
This annual celebration inspires and celebrates all forms of community giving. Our program highlights include recognition of the 2021 Philanthropists of the Year and 2021 Lifetime of Giving Awards, as well as an inspiring message for all. A list of event sponsors and previous honorees is available on our Annual Celebration page.
We are thrilled to announce that Eric Liu, co-founder and CEO of Citizen University, will share a message about the power of finding common purpose. Liu is a Seattle-based author, educator and thought leader on the subjects of civic life and identity in the United States. He served as a White House speechwriter and deputy domestic policy adviser under former President Bill Clinton. His lifelong passions inspired him to co-found and lead Citizen University, a nonprofit focused on reviving civic engagement across the country.
We are introducing a sliding scale ticketing model to ensure that the message of community philanthropy is accessible to all. Our suggested ticket price is $25, which is more than affordable for some and absolutely prohibitive for others. Please do whatever you can to join us. If you’re unable to attend and would like to make a gift of support, please make a contribution to our General Fund.
Ticket holders will receive a link via email to watch the livestream of the event on June 1, beginning at 12:00 p.m. PST.
We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable everyone to engage fully. To request an accommodation or for inquiries about translation or accessibility, please contact Ursula Arlauskas at 360.952.4305.
