Overview + Keynote
The 2023 Annual Luncheon returns to the Hilton Vancouver Washington to celebrate the strength of our communities and the ways we all contribute to a more thriving region. Program highlights include an update from Community Foundation for Southwest Washington president Matt Morton, an inspiring keynote from urban revitalization strategist Majora Carter, and recognition of our SW Washington Philanthropy Award recipients:

Majora Carter is a real estate developer, urban revitalization strategist, nonprofit founder, author and artist. Her recently released book “Reclaiming Your Community” reveals how communities can grow and thrive by retaining talent and utilizing restorative economic approaches. She graced the stage of the very first TED conference and has received many accolades for her leadership and community development work, including a MacArthur Fellowship and Peabody Award.
