Rallying SW Washington Nonprofits for GiveBIG!
For nine years, the Community Foundation rallied nonprofits across southwest Washington for its 24-hour online giving marathon. This year we’re carrying on the tradition in a new way with GiveBIG, Washington’s statewide 48-hour giving extravaganza. To help nonprofits keep the local spirit and momentum going, we’re gathering our region’s incredible causes for an afternoon update and strategy session.
Registration is required for this virtual event, which will be broadcast and recorded via Zoom. Nonprofit professionals, board members and volunteers can tune in to ask questions, get registration details, hear about trainings, and get updates on local prizes and the SW Washington Community Page. Participating nonprofits and other partners will also share their plans for building excitement and awareness locally. For those new to online giving campaigns, you can find out how GiveBIG provides your organization with a way to raise awareness for your cause and skill up on digital fundraising strategies.
By working together, nonprofits can make make the most of this day and show our neighbors across the state what our region can accomplish.

About GiveBIG
GiveBIG is a statewide fundraising campaign where individuals and organizations come together across Washington to invest in our communities. Every spring, the excitement for GiveBIG builds through word-of-mouth, social media and an extensive promotional campaign that engages local celebrities and sports teams. In 2022, the resulting wave of donations, matching funds and in-kind contribtions added up to $14.6 million for 1,523 participating nonprofits. GiveBIG 2023 will kick off on April 18 and culminate in a 48-hour giving event on May 2-3! Register for GiveBIG HERE.
