Martín Parrao

Before joining the Community Foundation in 2023, Martín worked as an entrepreneur and tax preparer. He also spent nearly three years as an accounting specialist at Housing Opportunities of SW Washington. He uses these talents and experiences to support our daily accounting functions and to help track and report our community impact.

Martín received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Washington State University Vancouver, where he graduated with the highest honors and earned multiple scholarships—including several from the Community Foundation. He is excited to help extend this support to other students, especially in the Hispanic community, because his personal journey sparked a deep belief in the power of education.

When he’s not crunching numbers, you can find Martín spending time with his wife, daughter and chihuahua or honing his backhand on the tennis court.
