Rachon Hanson

Rachon joined the accounting team in 2019 and refined systems and processes that have allowed the organization to deliver timely and accurate data on its grantmaking and finances. She became the Chief Financial Officer in 2023, where she is committed to aligning all financial and accounting decisions with the organization’s mission.

Her background includes work as an accountant in the private sector, as well as four years serving as a United Methodist pastor. Born and raised in Vancouver, she graduated from the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics before pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Washington University.

She is proud to be raising her two children in her hometown, and is passionate about serving others and helping to build a more connected community here. Rachon also holds a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School and loves to write and play the piano.
