Sheila Peraza

Born and raised in the beautiful state of Washington, Sheila has called Ridgefield home for the past 30 years. Her roots stretch through Lewis and Cowlitz counties, but Clark County is where she's truly settled and built a life. She's been married for 37 years and is the proud parent of three children. She finds joy in the natural beauty and diversity of this region—whether she's kayaking, hiking, or simply exploring the outdoors.

Professionally, Sheila spent over a decade in the educational and youth serving nonprofit sector and another ten years in the medical field, both of which deepened her commitment to service and community. Now, she is the working with the Community Foundation’s scholarship team.

"This role has been incredibly inspiring witnessing the impact of generous donors and the opportunities created for students pursuing their education fills me with pride and gratitude. Reading through hundreds of scholarship applications was a very emotional experience at times and confirmed to me how very important this work is. It’s truly heartwarming to collaborate with such a dedicated team, and I’m honored to contribute to a mission that uplifts our future leaders."
