The Community Foundation is returning to normal operations in accordance with the Washington Ready plan.

Our office is currently open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. excluding holidays. To welcome visitors back to our office we are following guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and our state and local health authorities. These agencies are advising everyone to wear masks indoors to address a recent surge in reported cases. A CDC COVID Data Tracker has identified Clark and Cowlitz Counties, as well as others across the state, as having “substantial” or “high” levels of COVID-19 transmission. As such, we are requiring visitors to wear face coverings in our office.

These protective measures help ensure the safety of our staff, supporters and community partners. As an organization, we encourage everyone to join us in making local communities safer for everyone. We applaud and support the many initiatives aimed at getting more people vaccinated. Every step we take adds to our region’s recovery from COVID-19.

The Community Foundation sees reopening as another step forward in the long process of rebuilding. Many in our region are still striving to rebuild their lives. So, as we recognize this milestone, we must also remain committed to a full and inclusive recovery. Our hope is that reconnecting and collaborating will only help accelerate this important work.
