About Pam Cabanatuan

Pam Cabanatuan, brought her finance, accounting and reporting expertise to the Community Foundation in July 2010. She served as our first Controller and became Chief Financial Officer in 2018.
During her time, Pam ensured that the Foundation had adequate systems and procedures in place to support effective program implementation and flawless audits. She also steered investments toward ESG portfolios, implemented an impact investing program, and enhanced payroll and benefits.
When not looking at debits and credits, she can often be found running, reading and enjoying her retirement in sunny San Diego. She grew up in Southern California and holds degrees from the University of California at San Diego and San Diego State University.
